Today we are making granola.
Rolled Oats
Nuts of choice (any will do)
Seeds of choice (sunflower, pumpkin, chia...)
Neutral flavor oil (as much or little as you like, more = more flavorful, but also more calories.
Maple syrup or honey or both
Vanilla (optional)
Cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of salt
Coconut flakes (optional)
Dried fruits, raisons etc.
Steps
Preheat oven to 200°. Mix oats / nuts and seeds. Cinnamon if using. Salt.
In separate cup mix oil, sweetener of choice, and vanilla if using.
Pop in the over. Make sure you keep an eye on it, can burn quickly. Mix. Bake again.
Add coconut flakes if using and pop it in for not even a minute. It will brown quickly.
Add any extras.
