Whether you fly a drone or RC plane, using a lithium-ion battery instead of a lipo can give you more flight time and, if you build your own, even save you money. In this video I build a 6S Li-Ion battery using 21700 cells and take it for a test flight on the Foxeer Aura 7 quadcopter where it delivers 20 minute flight times.
