Camera calibration doesn’t only work on pro-cameras. I can calibrate a point and shoot, a micro four-thirds camera or even an iPhone. If it makes a photo and it has color, I can make a profile. All it takes is a photo of the ColorChecker Passport and the ColorChecker Lightroom Plugin or X-Rite Camera Calibration software.
