It is similar to other data viz tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Looker but a bit more scaled down. It's intended primarily for data visualization vs more intense analytics needs. But, you can still do a lot with Metabase and there are many scenarios where it can be sufficient for your needs. It allows you to create custom dashboards, send reports out on a subscription and much more. In today's video I'll show you step by step how to start using this tool on your local machine.
