I was clearly not expecting to tear up as I would consider myself more of a casual fan but I guess the feeling of nostalgia was a lot stronger than anticipated. Probably because the nostalgia is felt not just in the song but in reality as well because it's been a while since we got to see them together as GFRIEND! I loved how they kept that identity sound for this comeback because to me this is signaling that time stopped for them and the journey is only now starting again and so nothing has changed. Also the symbolism of a mic stand is strong here in my opinion. I see it as it being their magic wand and do they've now regained their power and their place in a sense: everything is back where it belongs. The countless references to their journey, how the carriage represents their eras and how now they've come back together when they were separated at first, all of it is beautiful! the song and their voices feel ethereal as if they were opening the door to spring after a long cold winter and the heat of the sun is hitting you and warming you up. And that feeling is amazing!
