King Narabhupal Shah of Gorkha, nominated Jayanta Rana Magar for Kaji. After the first defeat with Nuwakot, Jayanta Rana Magar left Gorkha and took asylum in Kantipur. He started working as an army commander under the King Jaya Prakash Mall of Kantipur.
