In this video, you can learn the assembly process of the GHS 155-4-4100 type A telescopic cylinder step by step. The assembly process starts with checking the stage compression. Before the nutring and dust seal are installed, the body bearings are placed and each stage is assembled in order and the tightness is checked. The nutring is placed in the correct position with the groove inwards; it should be kept in mind that oil leakage may occur when placed upside down.
For all stages, outer rings, bearings, nutring and dust seals are assembled respectively. The head O-ring is carefully placed in place and tightened clockwise by applying threadlocker. The head is fixed with setscrew bolt and additional fixing operations are applied to prevent loosening.
The back cover O-ring and other sealing elements are lubricated and mounted in place. The bleed bolt is tightened and the cover setscrew is fixed by applying thread stabiliser. Finally, the assembly process is completed by installing plastic guards and grease fitting. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel for more technical information and guide videos!
