Chase Brice threw four first half TD passes to lead #1 ranked Grayson to a 44-26 semi-final win over #2 Mill Creek. Clemson commit Brice completed scoring passes of 10, 17, 25 and 42 yards, the final one to South Carolina commit Jamyest Williams as the Rams scored 29 second quarter points. Quinten Thames had a 44-yard interception return for a score. Brice completed 17-25 for 296 yards, 245 of those in the explosive first half. Grayson advanced to its second state championship game, while Mill Creek finished 13-1 for the second straight season.
