I use a free software called ETC Eos.
It's a lighting software (typically) used for stage show lighting, concerts, major events that require lighting. The 3d Display is more for visualizing when your away from the Venue. (3d typically not used when doing live Shows)

I also use another external software called "Reaper" which is a music software that let's me send MIDI data to ETC Eos, and that let's me run cues based on certain time codes.
Reaper is a paid software with a free trial, (I'm sure there are other ones that work just as well, but this is what I know best, so I use it)
