"Gohan (Adult) is a playable fighter in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO returning from Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, where he was simply called "Gohan". It refers to Gohan as a young adult, as he appears during the final chapters of the Dragon Ball Z anime, as well as the Dragon Ball Super anime & manga.
He was officially confirmed as a playable character during the "Master and Apprentice Trailer" released on April 30th, 2024."
