The Rush Tower at Golden Nugget Las Vegas has been on my "to stay" list for some time, as I've heard people rave about the experience.
I finally ponied up to stay in a Rush Tower Tranquility Room (meaning, it should be quiet), and have to agree... This may be one of the nicest hotel rooms on Fremont Street.
My Rush Tower Tranquility room had 439 sq. ft. of space, a comfortable California King bed, a crisp 55" TV, mini fridge, and a bathroom that was straight up GORGEOUS.
The broader resort is home to a casino that's seemingly always packed and buzzing, numerous bars and lounges, a cozy sportsbook, and a solid selection of dining options that ranges from Chick Fil A and Starbucks to Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse.
I enjoyed meals at Claim Jumper, Saltgrass, and even hopped over to the Buffet at Main Street Station - The only buffet on Fremont Street.
Happy Hour beers were enjoyed at Chart House, which has an aquarium of it's own and is a great scene.
Of course, the feature attraction is Golden Nugget's pool, called The Tank, which is stocked with sharks and other fish and has a waterslide that cuts right through the aquarium. On the second level of the pool area is the adult only Hideaway Pool, which was unfortunately closed when I visited.
Leave your comments on my Golden Nugget Las Vegas hotel reveiw in the comments! I'd also love to hear your GN experiences!
