Gordon Behind Bars: Season 1 - Episodes 1, 2, 3 & 4
Gordon Ramsay wants to get prisoners cooking food on the inside, to sell on the outside. He arrives at Brixton Prison in south London, a category B Victorian jail, packed with drug dealers, burglars, muggers and thieves, and picks twelve men. Gordon sets them a challenge: to cook dinner for the whole prison.
Season 1, Episode 1
As Gordon's business gets busier, the prison's stringent systems and routines start getting to him, and he struggles to keep his brigade together. Serial offender Lawrence loses it in the kitchen and tries to attack another prisoner, and the authorities stop Jerome from being able to bake.
Season 1, Episode 2
Gordon's been at Brixton Prison for two months and it's time his Bad Boy Bakery business started bringing in some proper money. The kitchen brigade is already two men down and facing the challenges from the prison system is beginning to take its toll on Gordon. He invites big players from the coffee shop industry into the prison to sample lemon treacle slices.
Season 1, Episode 3
Gordon's served almost six months in Brixton Prison, but it will mean nothing if he doesn't leave a viable business behind to keep prisoners working and earning. For his Bad Boys Bakery to stay open long term, he has to get a big coffee chain to bulk buy his lemon curd treacle slice, and get Justice Secretary Ken Clarke and the Ministry of Justice give the Bad Boys Bakery the financial backing it needs to continue.
