Fast GPS module satellite fix methods! 2 special ways! Simple "How to" lock onto satellites and get flying fast. Get your GPS module satellite lock quickly, stop waiting around, and get in the air. PRECAUTIONARY NOTE! For the isolated power supply method, your choice of GPS module and BEC combination MAY make a difference. I have received a report that the BN220 GPS module together with the iFlight micro BEC has caused the BN220 GPS module to burn out. In this video I have demonstrated this isolated power supply option with the Matek SAM M8Q. I have had zero issues with using this and I do get fast satellite locks with it. I am also now using the Matek 2-8s Micro BEC. The Matek GPS module and the Matek Micro BEC may have additional circuitry protection over that of the BN220 (or similar) modules.
