The Granite Beanie Crochet Pattern is a beautifully textured beanie that is easy to work and features a beautiful, warm, solid texture. The crochet hat is worked from the brim up. I have worked a double thick brim for this hat meaning that I work the brim twice as long so that I can fold it up, however the design is easy to customize and you may choose to work a shorter brim. After working the brim you will simply work the body of the hat to the height desired, fasten off leaving a long tail, and then use that tail to sew the top of the hat closed. I love closing crochet beanies using this method, it make them much easier to work!
