We're attending the St. Dominic's Fair in Gdansk Poland to try out some traditional Polish food! St. Dominic's Fair (Jarmark św. Dominika) is one of the oldest and largest fairs in Europe, held annually in Gdańsk, Poland. It has a long history dating back to the 13th century, making it a significant cultural and economic event in the region. After browsing many of the food stalls and an unsuccessful hunt for Pierogi's, I settle for some cheese wrapped in bacon with jam. While it wasn't what I was looking for, I'm glad I tried it. It was good. Next we find a sweet treat in the form of a chimney cake. After watching the process of how it was made, my server spread Nutella all over the inside. It was delicious. Next up, we grab some Bigos for lunch. Bigos is a traditional Polish dish also known as Hunter's Stew. It was so hot! But yummy. I grab a popular local beer to wash it all down and go on the hunt for some Zapiekanka. I love Polish food!
