Ingredients:
Peas / Koraishuti / Matar - 1 Cup / 150 Gm
Basmati Rice - 1 Cup / 200 gm
Refined Oil - 2 Tbsp
Ghee - 1/2 Tbs
Garam Masala
Bay Leaf
Cashew Nuts - 1/4 Cup / 30 Gm
Raisins - 15 Gm
Ginger Paste - 1 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder
Salt
Sugar

Methods of how to make peas pulao:
1. At first take 1 cup/200 gm Basmati Rice in a bowl.
2. Wash the rice properly 2-3 times.
3. Then soak it in water for 15-20 mins
4. But strain and make the rice dry before cooking
5. Heat up a kadai and add 2 tbsp. Refined Oil, 1/2 tbsp. Ghee.
6. When Oil and Ghee heats up add 1 Bay Leaf, Whole Garam Masala that includes Cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon, Black Pepper.
7. Fry for 15-20 secs on medium flame.
8. Add 1/4 cup Cashew Nuts and fry on medium flame.
9. After 30 secs add 1 cup Green Peas (150 gm after peeling).
10. Add a handful/15 gm of Raisins.
11. Now fry them for 1 minute on medium flame.
12. After 1 minute add 1 tsp Ginger Paste and fry for another 1 minute on medium flame
13. After 1 minute add the Rice. Mix well and cook for 2 mins while stirring continuously.
14. Cook for 2 mins on medium flame while stirring continuously.
15. Turn the flame to low and add 2 cups Hot Water.
16. Now add 1 tsp Salt & 2 tsp Sugar as per taste.
17. Now mix and cook on high flame.
18. After mixing cover and cook for 10 mins on medium to low flame.
19. After 10 mins add 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder. Carefully stir from the sides to move the rice from below to top.
20. Then again cover cook for another 5 mins on low flame.
21. After 5 mins turn off your oven and let it rest for another 5 mins.
22. Then serve Peas Pulao hot.
