Greene and Greene Wall Clock - Ebony Inlay and Plugs - Pt. 3

In this video, I make the base and cut the Greene and Greene style finger joints in the parts and make the ebony plugs and inlays.

Then I mark out where the ebony plugs and bars will go into the piece, and cut the square holes with a hollow chisel mortiser. The ebony is cut for the plugs and bars, then I proceed to rounding over the plugs as demonstrated by William Ng. I use the Festool Domino DF500 to make slots to hold the base on, then cut the bottom panel for the clock.
