Led by silverback Mokolo, the troop includes experienced adult females and playful youngsters like Kayembe, Kunda, and Jameela. The zoo plays a vital role in gorilla conservation, educating visitors and helping protect this critically endangered species.

✅ Fredrika (Freddy): Born June 5, 1974
✅ Nneka: Born September 23, 1998
✅ Kebi: Born January 13, 1991
✅ Tusa: Born December 2, 1989
✅ Kayembe: Born October 26, 2021 (First gorilla ever born at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo!)
✅ Kunda: Born July 19, 2023 (Second baby born there in under two years!)
✅ Jameela: Born January 5, 2024 (Born via C-section at Fort Worth Zoo, now in Cleveland!)
