We are slowly getting used to our new camper, and even off-road dirt roads with a lot of mud go wonderfully well with the Fiat, even on summer tires.
Along the way we see a thermal hotel, but it appears to be deserted because the hot spring has dried up.
It is very quiet in the early season, there is room everywhere and free camping is fine everywhere and the restaurants that are open serve delicious Greek food for a good price.
Then we drive on to Thermopilae, known for its hot baths and unfortunately also for the gangs that stay there to rob campers. Fortunately, we were warned in advance and once we arrived, what was written on the internet turned out to be true. A Belgian camper has just been robbed of money and passports, so we are extra on our guard.
The water is lovely and we parked our camper next to the water so that we have a good view of it. Fortunately, we are doing well and nothing is happening, but our German neighbors say that they lost everything here last year. As a precaution, they have fitted all windows with iron beams so that no one can get in.
