I've always admired alocasias but made it a big point to stay away from them because of their finicky nature. Turns out, that could be solved by transferring them to pon! In soil, I found it extremely difficult to keep up with alocasia's watering needs that often lead to under or over watering. In pon, that huge variable is gone because it is a semi-hydro set up where I just keep the reservoir full of water and forget about it.
I now have 9 alocasias and can't wait to get more! Which one should I get next?
