In this video I teardown the Yamaha 30HP two stroke outboard motor that had both sunk and been run without oil in the fuel. The ultimate failure was the lower main bearing most likely due to salt water sitting in the bottom of the crankcase after the sinking. Running without oil turned out to be the final straw for the poor outboard but it looks like it can be fixed.
