// Watch more videos // If you like this video, you'll also probably like the video I made for Onewheel commuters: https://youtu.be/uh6EB4yyidg. // Description // The Onewheel GT-S Series is advertised to get 16-25 miles of range. I went out to test the range myself. There is a round trip ride that I like to do that touches a few famous D.C. landmarks, including the Lincoln Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Reflecting Pool, the Washington Monument, and the U.S. Capitol Building. I purposely left my charger at home and tried the ride on my Onewheel GT-S Series for the first time. On the way back, I also got to test the Unit 1 Faro Helmet, the Torch Backpack, and the Handlebar Remote together. Here are stats that are relevant to the range test: I'm 240 pounds. My backpack weighed approximately 5-10 pounds. Tire pressure was 24.5 PSI. The high temperature for the day was 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The low temperature was 43 degrees. I rode in the "Flow" setting with no Custom Shaping adjustments. // Get Discounts & Support the Channel // Save money on Unit 1 products at https://unit1gear.com/ using the code: FOLLOWDON. ** I'm so sorry I had to reupload this. There were errors from my video editing software that appeared in the original upload that I missed until after it was published. P.S. Advertised range numbers could have been benchmarked with average-weight humans (which Google tells me is 180 pounds in North America). As a 6'3" human being, I weigh more than that. Perhaps disclaimers are appropriate when factors like these can significantly impact the advertised numbers.
