Guillain Barre Syndrome: काही दिवसांपूर्वी पुण्यातील एका ६५ वर्षीय महिलेला हाता-पायांत झिणझिण्या येऊ लागल्या. हा त्रास हळूहळू गंभीर होऊन तिच्या स्नायूंमध्ये कमकुवतपणा जाणवू लागला. त्यामुळे तिला हालचाल करणेही अशक्य झाले. तिला कंबरदुखी, सौम्य ताप आणि हलक्या स्वरूपाचे जुलाबही सुरू झाले. त्यामुळे तिला आदित्य बिर्ला हॉस्पिटलमध्ये दाखल करण्यात आले. रुग्णालयात तिच्या मेंदू आणि मणक्याचे स्कॅन करण्यात आले, परंतु त्यातून ठोस निदान झाले नाही. मात्र, स्पायनल फ्लुईड चाचणीत अल्ब्युमिनोसाइटोलॉजिकल डिसोसिएशनचे निदान झाले. त्यातून तिला गुइलेन बॅरे सिंड्रोम (जीबीएस) निष्पन्न झाले. पुणे महानगरपालिकेतील वैद्यकीय विभाग आता या प्रकरणी सज्ज झाला आहे. संबंधित परिसरात परिस्थितीवर लक्ष ठेवण्यासाठी एक पथक पाठवण्यात येणार असल्याचं सुद्धा समजतंय. नेमकं या आजाराविषयी आपल्याला आतापर्यंत काय काय समजलंय ते आपण या व्हिडिओतून सविस्तर जाणून घेऊया.
