There are 5 different Regiments of the Footguards:
Coldstream Guards
Grenadier Guards
Scots Guards
Welsh Guards
Irish Guards
Band of the Brigadeof Gurkhas .
The ones you see marching in the bearskins are Welsh Guards - one of the ways to identify them is the green and white plumes on the left of the bearskin.
They are following behind the band of the Rifles Regiment, a light infantry regiment.
Both are full time, fighting infantry
