💈 Haircut With Prague's Sweetheart - Mariana ❤️

I visit Sarm, an old Communist era barbershop, and get a haircut with Prague's Sweetheart - Mariana! 💕 This is the third video we filmed while we were in Prague this summer. During our time in Prague I was really interested in visiting a Communist era barbershop. While growing up Klara, owner of Barberette, was familiar with these shops. So she graciously agreed to help us find a shop and approach them about filming. With Klara's help we were able to film at a shop named Sarm. Due to the historical influence of the Communist era, all barbershops were nationalized and converted into a standard model of a unisex barbershop. Since the Velvet Revolution in 1989, the country has gradually been rebuilding a new history in barbering. The old Communist era barbershops have slowly been disappearing. Sarm was one of only a small handful left in Prague. Sarm emerged in the early 90s when private ownership of businesses reemerged, and it was a business chain modeled directly on the old Communist era barbershops. Sarm was the second barbershop we visited with Klara, and we met Mariana who agreed on the spot to allow us to film a haircut video. When we film, we never know what the experience is going to be like. When the camera started, Mariana quickly warmed up and stole our hearts! ▶️ UPDATE: Within a few days of us filming the video this location was permanently closed.
