HAITIAN MACARONI AND CHEESE WITH GROUND BEEF|| HOW TO MAKE||MAC&CHEESE
INGREDIENTS
Ground beef 160z 1lb
1 box of penne pasta 16oz
1 can and a 1cup of evaporated milk
1 block of Gouda cheese
1 block of monetary jack cheese
1 block of peeper jack cheese
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
1 8oz block of cream cheese
1 jar of ragu cheese (optional)
1 cup of pasta sauce (any brand you want I used Classico four cheese)
1 tablespoon of sour cream
3 chicken flavor bouillon cube( maggie)
Belle peppers A half of a half of each color diced up ( any color you want)
1/2 of Yellow onion diced up
1/2 Tomato diced up (optional)
Butter
Slice of lime
1 tablespoon of white distilled vinegar
1/4 cup of epis
Adobo
All purpose Seasoning salt
Cayenne
Paprika
Parsley
Garlic powder
Pam none stick spay
One 11.75in W x 9.25 in D x 2.5 l in H aluminum pan
Preheat oven at 350°
COOKING PASTA
Follow the directions on the back of the box
Add 1 maggie cube to the water or if you don’t like using maggie use chicken broth instead of water. When pasta is done cooking drain it than put it in a bowl add 1 tablespoon of butter to help pasta not stick together. Set to the side
COOKING GROUND BEEF
16oz 1lb ground beef medium high heat 6 or 7
Add 1/4 cup of epis (Best Haitian epis https://youtu.be/OC56aEXTcMo )
Add the diced up belle peppers, onions, and tomatoes
Squeeze 1 slice of lime into the meat
Add 1 tablespoon of white distilled vinegar
1 teaspoon of adobo
1 cube of maggie
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon of cayenne
1 teaspoon of paprika
2 teaspoon of all purpose seasoning salt
mix well and let meat cook for about 20 minutes
Set to the side when done
MAKING CHEESE SAUCE
Shred Gouda, Colby jack, and pepper jack cheese into a bowl.
Add a pot to stove top on low heat 6 or 5
Add 1 can of evaporated milk when the milk start to simmer add cream cheese block. Mix until all the cream cheese have melted and sauce is smooth. Add 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese mix well until sauce is smooth. Add 2 cups of the Gouda, Colby jack, and pepper jack cheese that you shredded. Mix well than add the 1/2 cup of evaporated milk add ragu double cheddar (optional) mix well until sauce is smooth and set to the side place heat on low until you are ready to use the sauce.
THE MIX
In a large bowl add the cooked ground beef and the boiled penne pasta and mix them together. Add 1 cup of pasta sauce mix well until all the penne is well coated. Add the cheese sauce to the pasta and mix well add 1 cube of maggie add 1 teaspoon of black pepper 1 teaspoon of adobo 1 tablespoon of sour cream mix well. Get the aluminum pan and spy it with the none stick spray or coat it with butter if you don’t have the spay. Place pasta into a pan and place it into the oven ( the middle rack) for 20 minutes
Remove pasta from oven
Add the remainder of the shredded Gouda, Colby jack, and pepper jack on top of the pasta.
Optional
Sprinkle som parsley, cayenne and paprika onto the top of the cheese
Place Mac and cheese on the top rack of the oven for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Take out let cool and enjoy
