This Ranger was recently purchased at the Chelsea Hamfest by a Ham friend of mine. The first thing noted was a stuck VFO tuning dial. The repair is not easy, but the condition of the Ranger warranted a full restoration. I was shocked how nice the front panel looked. This Ranger would be the star of your Vintage AM station. The job took a full 8 hours to complete. As they say, its a labor of love. The Ranger is my favorite of the Johnsons to work on.
