Even if it is not obvious at first, if you adapt this idea into your practice, you will be able to improvise interesting melodies while keeping a groove at the same time, while also improving your timing and understanding of rhythm. It's definitely one of the most useful and impactful ideas for handpan playing that I know for your overall development as a player.
