During this event, Jay Machado, whose credits include The Mandalorian, Rogue One, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will give a detailed look into his process of creating a hard surface environment. Jay will cover the techniques he uses to create a detailed hard surface environment, from gathering reference and research, to final rendering. He will share his reference locations and insight into shooting photogrammetry. Jay will give an insider look into his preferred tools and software, such as modeling Maya, texturing in Substance Painter, and lighting and rendering in V-Ray for Maya.
