Abstract: As the pervasiveness of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies increases in key sectors such as transportation, healthcare, industry, and domestic settings, it is crucial we scrutinize their security and integrity on a continues basis. As an IoT researcher, this is precisely what I do. In this presentation, I will detail my daily research activities, focusing on the methodologies employed to analyze and test various IoT technologies that are integral to our everyday lives. I will explore the structure of IoT ecosystems and demonstrate how vulnerabilities in any segment can affect the security of the entire system. Additionally, I will outline various testing procedures and the mechanics of interacting with embedded devices electronic circuitry.
