Harry grew up with Steve Rogers before Steve and his mother moved to Brooklyn when Harry was 10. They were childhood friends. After Harry’s 11th birthday, he received his Hogwarts letter. Hagrid picked him up, and his journey continued as the years went by. The events of the plot take place as usual, but after Voldemort's death, Harry doesn’t destroy the Elder Wand. Instead, he pretends to destroy it in front of everyone, realizing that now everyone is aware of the wand, and he would face more trouble if he kept it with him.
Over time, Harry finds his mind becoming clearer. He realizes that he had been under the influence of potions all those years. Enraged, Harry summons Dumbledore’s soul and casts the Imperius Curse on it. Because he is using the Elder Wand, which now looks like his original wand, he is able to control the soul. He finds the answers to all his questions and learns the truth behind all the lucky encounters he had over the years. He realizes he was manipulated and conditioned from childhood to kill Voldemort. He also discovers that those he once considered his friends were merely pawns used to control him.
Harry understands that his entire life was a lie and seeks revenge. He curses Dumbledore's soul in a way that would make even the devil afraid. However, with the last of his mercy, Harry chooses not to kill the others. He leaves Britain and goes to Brooklyn to live with his old friend Steve, cutting all ties with his past. He changes his name to Bucky Barnes, leaving behind everything related to Hogwarts and Britain.
