Video Description: When I first saw the famous ad with Sir Amitabh Bachchan showing the beauty of the Rann of Kutch during my school days, I was immediately fascinated. It made me curious about the Kutch region in Gujarat, and since then, visiting the Rann Utsav and exploring the vast, magical Rann of Kutch became a dream on my bucket list.
As I learned more, I discovered the Agariyas — the amazing salt farmers who live and work in the middle of the desert, producing salt in one of the toughest environments on Earth. Their way of life really caught my attention, and I knew I had to experience it for myself.
In this documentary, I take you on a journey to the Rann of Kutch, where we see the unique and inspiring lives of the Agariyas. From the salt fields to their daily struggles and successes, I show how these farmers have been living and working in the desert for generations.
