Autumn transforms the Vosges forest into an ecosystem where every living being plays its part. Deer mark their territory with their powerful bellow, a call to reproduction. During this time, trees lose their leaves to save energy and prepare for winter. Dead leaves are recycled by a multitude of insects and earthworms, thus nourishing the soil. Predators such as lynx and foxes adapt their behavior in the face of the decrease in prey. Nature goes dormant to survive the cold, while wildlife organizes itself to ensure its continuity until the return of spring.
