Has Sim Update 2 FIXED VRAM Usage in MSFS 2024?

Sim Update 2 Beta is here for Microsoft Flight Simulator, and the burning question is: has it stopped using so much VRAM? Quite often on my 16GB 4080 Super, I would run out of VRAM causing massive issues, bringing the sim almost to a hault. So much so, only last week, I swapped to a 7900XTX to get myself 24GB of VRAM. Was that purchase now a waste? Let’s find out…
