Descente du Haut-Allier entre Naussac (Langogne) et Prades (Lozère et Haute-Loire) - 66 km en canoë gonflable du 9 au 12 Juillet 2022.
Suite au travaux de modification du barrage de Poutès afin de redonner vie à une partie de la rivière et permettre à nouveau la migration du Saumon Atlantique, nous avons descendu une partie de la rivière concernée : afin de montrer la réalité de ce parcours, qui devient ainsi le seul parcours en rivière naturelle d'eau-vive réalisable en continu sur plusieurs jours: jusqu'il y a peu de temps une utopie en France ! Au passage remarquons la beauté d'une rivière naturelle fraîchement retrouvée à la place d'un lac de barrage !

Since the (partial) levelling of the Poutès dam, and the repeal of the regulation order forbidding the navigation of the section of the gorges under this dam, here is now THE trip in Expedition mode on the Upper-Allier - the One-and-Only overnight-whitewater-trip in France ! : from the Put-in at Langogne, to the hamlet of Prades, 66 km of class 2 to (4) to be followed without (almost) getting off your boat! Season: In Summer and particularly in August and September, the Naussac-dam is releasing continuously 8 - 10 cms for helping maintaining the mighty Loire water level dowstream.
