In this slightly less gut wrenching dumpster diving / bottle picking video Bab and I are once again in Corowa NSW. With a container deposit scheme now finally being added to Victoria as well it was high time we set out on a wild bottle picking adventure. Bab and I call the act of going searching for and collecting bottles and cans "Grinding". We started hunting in a park along the Murray river where we found a handful of bottles and salvaged a steel roof off what could be a part of a dog kennel.
From there we headed to the scrap metal yard to dump the corrugated iron and to fossick for coins in a few old lounge chairs dumped outside. We bottle picked outside the Corowa historic vehicle and machinery club where we were greeted by a plethora of old tractors and farming equipment to admire. We then wondered over to the Corowa airport and went environmental gorilla warfare style in a overgrown bush full of bottles and cans that have been siting for 20 years. It was epic.
