For 19 years police thought David Slater had killed his wife. The night Cariad Anderson Slater went missing in 1992, she’d been fighting with her husband David Slater. The last person to see her alive was a taxi driver who’d taken her to a friend, Ron Pennington’s house in the early hours of the morning. He watched her walk up the front steps of Pennington’s house but left before she went in the door. She was never seen again. Police investigating Cariad’s mysterious disappearance quickly turned their attention to her husband.
