Anubis, the egyptian god of funerary rites, has seen many forms of life come and go. His heart is filled with grief and compassion. Anubis taught people, that, because of the transitory nature of music, you can harness it's power to transform and guide emotion towards an altered state of consciousness. The track "Heart of Anubis" uses the spiritual power of voice samples of Sainkho Namtchylak modulated with the Morphagene and harmonically leans towards "eastern" concept of harmony by using the strenght of halftone steps.
All synths run through an Alan & Heath mixer and are being recorded as a stereo sum in Ableton Live.
I've used Ozone 11 for mastering the track.
