One of the greatest voices America ever produced. New York Philharmonic, Artur Rodzinski, conductor. 1946. "Elsa's Dream" is one of the most beautifully melodic pieces Wagner ever wrote, and Traubel does it justice as very few can. Her voice was very powerful and ringing, yet she could sing very beautifully, with great melodic line and an immaculate sense of style.
