The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said Friday it's looking into the possibility of faulty equipment in a military helicopter that potentially led to the deadly Jan. 29 midair collision with an American Airlines flight preparing to land at Reagan National Airport, resulting in 67 deaths.
That detail came from NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy, who said the cockpit of the military helicopter might have received faulty data in the cockpit of the three-man helicopter during its training flight outside D.C. and near the Potomac River.
