The Silent Hill franchise has been known since its inception for its ambiguity in storyline, meaning that what you see on the screen is not necessarily what really happened or what you should believe. It's a game where the events are very blurred, the timeline is vague, and the meanings are basically up for you to find out. However, Silent Hill 2 specifically is where this concept goes to a completely new level, reaching a point where different players can literally disagree about what really happened in the story and how it ended. The reason for this is because this game's narrative is very confusing on so many levels.
