These 2.4ltr 4 cylinder engines were produced to perform way ahead of their time. This is why there are many of these on the roads today running strong even with hundreds of thousands of miles. The gas mileage is excellent. The driveability is excellent. They hold up very well and won't leave you stranded. Talk about a great commuter car, these cars are bulletproof with their quality of build. I expect to get mine over 300k miles with no serious mechanical issues at all. I have had no issues so far other than replacing the tires, battery and doing routine oil changes. If you want a great car for a great price that will hold its value very well than this is the right vehicle for you.
