Not often we hear the quote "Built, not bought" When you come across a Civic Type R majority of the time they're imported but in this feature Herman built his version of a Phoenix Yellow Civic Type R. With Rhd and Jim parts for 90's Honda parts becoming more scarce he went above and beyond to complete this build period correct. He sourced all of his parts here in the U.S. and in Japan, let's just say some of these parts definitely were not cheap. Hermin acquired a 99 Honda Civic with a B16B that was Track car and needed a lot of love. From buying Oem red labels, 5 lug conversion, doing a RHD coversion and even sourcing a ETC card reader which is mainly used in a Japan but a cool Jdm bit to add to his EK9 build. This car is just beautiful, well rounded and put together perfectly to what a Civic Ek9 should be.
