Today’s episode of dedicated to a south facing hill on the Rhone river and a family who traces its 16 generation of winemakers all the way back to 1481. The place is of course the Hermitage (ermitage) hill and the family is that of Domaine Jean-Louis Chave.
We’ll look at the history of the Hermitage (ermitage) AOC and dive into the mythical Chave wines and try to understand why prices have skyrocketed in the last decade. Of course Pops and Stacey are ready to geek out - maybe even more so than usual.
Sit down, pour a glass, and discover the Rhone Valley with B, Pops, and Stacey.
Thank you so much for watching!
