Lake Lanier, GA April 24, 2022 Striper fishing on Lake Lanier has been relatively slow this year as we experienced extended cooler weather and a lot of wind. Finally the water temp was climbing this week and on this day it reached 69 F so the herring were spawning on relatively shallow water structure such as rocks, rip rap, vegetation, reef poles, buoys, stumps, trees, etc. on main river and creek channel points & humps. It's super important to pay attention to mother nature and usually it will give the signs needed to find the fish.
