Final Fantasy VII contained plenty of secrets that we keep coming back to, and that Square Enix are keen to revisit themselves judging by the size and scope of the Compilation and Remake Project. Here we take a look at some subtle connections between the cast of FF7 and the history of the Cetra, or Ancients, and develop a theory based on our findings.
