Changying Hui Township is a township (region) under the jurisdiction of Chaoyang District, Beijing, located in the eastern part of Chaoyang District. Changying Mosque is located in Changying Ethnic New Village, Changying District, Chaoyang District, Beijing.
In 1986, the Chaoyang District People's Government announced the "Changying Mosque" as a "Cultural Relics Protection Unit in Chaoyang District, Beijing." Changying Mosque has three gates from south to north. The overall building faces east and west, and is a two-entry courtyard. On the north side of the first courtyard are men's and women's water rooms, and on the south side are five women's classrooms. The main hall is a rolling shed style three-roll hook-and-loop structure. The front pavilion is a large hard mountain tile with a large ridge, and the back building is a resting mountain hoop. There is a hexagonal pointed pavilion on the ridge of the head, and the roof is made of yellow and green glazed tiles. The main hall is sub-shaped in plane, with five rooms wide and eight rooms deep, and can accommodate 200 to 300 Muslims worshiping at the same time. At the beginning of the 21st century, a female temple was built for female Muslims to worship. The Changying Mosque houses 30 manuscripts of the Quran, 2 volumes of "Wei Ga Ye", 1 volume of "Erga Ye Dai", 4 "Ga Zui" and other scriptures, as well as special bronzes made by the temple during the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China.
