Video Not Working? Fix It Now

00:48:00 - Tamagawa Ever get news that makes you just want to ride until your legs give out? ๐Ÿ˜ค That was me on my #commute through Tokyo this morning after receiving some particularly frustrating reviewer decisions on my manuscript ๐Ÿคฌ. Decided to channel that energy productively (sort of!) and went full gas โ€“ properly emptied the tank on the way! While the manuscript feedback stings, the upside was creating the perfect high-intensity scenario to test out a new data visualization setup. In this video, you'll see how I've integrated #XERT metrics, pulled from the ride's #Garmin #FITfile, directly onto the footage using custom #TelemetryOverlay fields. I was specifically looking at: *XSS (Xert Strain Score)* : Tracking the total accumulated workload and strain from the effort. *XSSR (XSS Rate/hour)* : Showing the intensity rate โ€“ how quickly that strain was building up. *HIE (High Intensity Energy)* : A great metric showing the energy available for hard, above-threshold efforts. Watching this deplete shows exactly how deep I had to dig! Check out the data overlays in the video to see these metrics respond to the effort! It's fascinating to connect the feeling of effort with the objective numbers in real-time! Let me know if you use Xert or similar data tools on your rides. ใˆใ‚‹ใ‚ˆใ†ใช้ซ˜ๅผทๅบฆใฎ้‹ๅ‹•ใงๅˆฉ็”จๅฏ่ƒฝใชใ‚จใƒใƒซใ‚ฎใƒผใ‚’็คบใ™ๅ„ชใ‚ŒใŸๆŒ‡ๆจ™ใงใ™ใ€‚ใ“ใ‚ŒใŒๆžฏๆธ‡ใ—ใฆใ„ใใฎใ‚’่ฆ‹ใ‚‹ใจใ€ใฉใ‚Œใ ใ‘่‡ชๅˆ†ใ‚’่ฟฝใ„่พผใ‚“ใ ใ‹ใŒใ‚ˆใใ‚ใ‹ใ‚Šใพใ™๏ผ ๅ‹•็”ปใฎใƒ‡ใƒผใ‚ฟใ‚ชใƒผใƒใƒผใƒฌใ‚คใงใ€ใ“ใ‚Œใ‚‰ใฎๆŒ‡ๆจ™ใŒ้‹ๅ‹•ใซใฉใ†ๅๅฟœใ™ใ‚‹ใ‹ใ‚’ใœใฒใƒใ‚งใƒƒใ‚ฏใ—ใฆใฟใฆใใ ใ•ใ„๏ผไฝ“ๆ„Ÿ็š„ใชใใคใ•ใจๅฎข่ฆณ็š„ใชๆ•ฐๅ€คใ‚’ใƒชใ‚ขใƒซใ‚ฟใ‚คใƒ ใง็ตใณใคใ‘ใ‚‹ใฎใฏใ€้žๅธธใซ่ˆˆๅ‘ณๆทฑใ„ใงใ™๏ผ ใ‚‚ใ—็š†ใ•ใ‚“ใ‚‚ใƒฉใ‚คใƒ‰ใงXertใ‚„ๅŒๆง˜ใฎใƒ‡ใƒผใ‚ฟใƒ„ใƒผใƒซใ‚’ไฝฟใฃใฆใ„ใŸใ‚‰ใ€ใœใฒๆ•™ใˆใฆใใ ใ•ใ„ใ€‚ #cycling #XertMetrics #GarminCycling #DataVisualization #CyclingTech #TokyoCycling #AcademicLife #cycling #XertMetrics #GarminCycling #DataVisualization #Telemetry #CyclingTech #TokyoCycling #Science #corebodytemp #core Difficult Mixed Pursuiter Ride โ“งโ“”โ“กโ“ฃ ๐—™๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—”๐—œ ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฆ๐˜‚๐—บ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜† โ•โ•โ•โ• โ— Totals: ใ€€ โŽ 156๐—‘๐—Œ๐—Œใ€€ ๐Ÿ”ต 121ใ€€ ๐ŸŸก 25ใ€€ ๐Ÿ”ด 9.4 โ— Relative Power: 236๐—๐–บ๐—๐—๐—Œ โ— Difficulty: โ—†โ—†โ—†โฌ– - 101 โ— Calories: 1222ใ€€ โ— Fat: 25gใ€€ โ— Carbs: 232g -- myWindsock Report -- Aerodynamics: 0.367 CdA Feels Like Elevโ„ข: +47m Weather Impactโ„ข: 8.7% Headwind: 92% @ 1.2 - 1.9 m/s Longest Headwind: 42m 47s Air Speed: 29.8 km/h Temp: 9.5-12.6 ยฐC Precip: 0% @ 0 Inch/hr -- END -- Please let me know what you think about the video.
