High Sierra Trail [Sequoia NP to Mount Whitney] | Tyler Townsend Travel The High Sierra Trail is an epic through hike from Crescent Meadow in Sequoia National Park to Mount Whitney. My friend Trevor and I completed this hike in 5 days, August 10-14th, 2023. This year, the Sierras saw an unprecedented amount of snowfall. The conditions that we experienced in August are similar to those in June of normal years.
