The hypnosis I usually do is therapeutic and not relaxing. A relaxing state of hypnosis is great for sleeping but not overcoming your problem. To do that you need to face it with therapeutic hypnosis which is a different state. However, several clients of mine have mentioned this road as being one they'd love to be able to drive again so I thought this might help.
This drive starts just after Exeter services and continues along the A30 until we exit for Roche and Victoria which are just after Bodmin. The famous places we pass along the way include Jamaica Inn, Dozmary Pool (where King Arthur's sword Excalibur is said to rest with the lady in the lake) and Dartmoor where the famous Sherlock Holmes story The Hound of the Baskervilles is set.
What is the point of this video? I help people overcome their fear of driving online and driving on roads such as this is one of the most common problems I deal with. This video isn't meant to fix that problem but just by watching it, some people are able to then feel better about it or it gives them the confidence to reach out to me and get help.
Stopping at Exeter services for a Whopper meal from Burger King is a tradition for me that I've been doing for many years. I love sitting eating my burger as I look forward to this beautiful drive, imagining what adventures I'm going to have on my holiday in Cornwall. I've been doing it for years and I'll be doing it for many more years to come. I've always loved the buzz at service stations, truck stops, rest breaks or whatever you want to call them. I love seeing so many different people all meeting in the same place as they eagerly go on their own adventures. Where did they come from? Where are they going? What is going to happen on their holiday? It's just like being at an airport terminal.
If you can't get out and about on a holiday or just love watching driving then this video will help you. The hills look much flatter in a video than they are in real life and you don't get the same feeling just from watching a video and much of the magic is lost but it's better than nothing :-D
